As a sports and life coach, I’ve always believed in the incredible power of sports to shape not just athletes, but individuals. It’s not just about the game—it’s about the lessons learned, the strength built, and the confidence that is developed both on and off the court. 🏆
For me, coaching has always been a way to empower young people to realize their full potential, not just as athletes, but as leaders, mentors, and resilient individuals. I believe that when we invest in young people, we help them unlock a future filled with endless possibilities. 🙌
Starting Fast-Break Friday, campus basketball league, was a natural step in my journey. It combines my passion for sport, my love for empowering young people, and my deep belief in the power of community. From the first tip-off to the last buzzer, this league is about more than just basketball—it’s about inspiring young minds to chase their dreams and lead lives full of purpose. 💫
My background in theology has also shaped my approach. In Proverbs 22:6, we are reminded to “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” I see coaching as a way to invest in the future of our young people, guiding them toward their destiny, building their character, and helping them stay grounded in the values that will serve them for a lifetime.
As we head into the second half of this season, I’m filled with excitement for the impact we’ll continue to make. Let’s keep building each other up, growing together, and pushing towards greatness—on and off the court! 💪🏾✨
